                LIGHTBULB MOMENT 

As all of us know, having been victimized at some point, there is really no ryhme or reason for what they do; what happens to one family under the same circumstances as another family will have different case plans, different services, different outcomes.  What happens to you may be different than what happens to me, and maybe we choose different ways to get through it, but ultimately, we all need a support system around us to get us through.  We need to hear from the people we care about and that care about us that it is alright to cry, to yell, to get angry, etc. and that they will still be there for us.  We also need to have a fellowship with those who understand this incidious pain because only people who have been through it can truly understand what that pain is like.  In my opinion, we also need the support of our Higher Power.  For me that is God the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit .  I realize that for some this is not what they believe and that is your choice - this site is for everyone who feels the pain and anger associated with someone coming in and ripping our families apart, regardless of your belief system.  I will say up front, however, that there will be references to faith on this site and if that offends you in any way, I am sorry for that.  Personally, and this is my own private opinion, I could not get through one day without the strength of God to guide me.  I accept his blessings of strength and peace of mind when I feel as if I cannot go on.  I appreciate the fact that he has brought me together with wonderful people who are of the same faith, but that does not mean that we cannot all support each other no matter what our belief system might be.  I invite each and every person who comes to this site to read through it and take what you need from it and leave the rest.  We all do not have the same kind of case going, we don't all need the same answers and information that someone else will need, but it has been my observation that if you ask a question, someone will have the answer.  What better way to suvive this devestation than to go through it together and offer genuine support any way we can.  I promise to do that, it is my pledge and mission to help anyone who needs it in any way that I can.  Please feel free to email me if you have any questions, have any concerns, or just need to vent.  All conversations are absolutely confidential and always remember - I am not an attorney, I cannot offer any type of legal advice, but I can share with you what has worked for me and what has not and can offer ways to search for what you need and most of all, I can listen!!!
